About The Position

Slone Dental is seeking an experienced Treatment Coordinator to join their team in Lexington, KY. The position also involves assisting with front office responsibilities such as scheduling appointments.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a dental office
High School Diploma or GED
Dental knowledge

Nice To Haves

Coronal polishing and/or X-ray certification

Responsibilities

Guide patients through treatment recommendations after their exam
Break down clinical information into clear, approachable explanations
Present accurate financial estimates, explain insurance coverage, and set up payment plans
Collaborate with the insurance coordinator to verify benefits and obtain pre-authorizations
Follow up on outstanding treatment plans to keep schedules full and patients on track
Assist with front office responsibilities, including scheduling and coordinating appointments
Serve as the go-to patient advocate, answering questions and supporting the overall patient experience
