Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Hep B Vaccination
- Tetanus Vaccination

- Sterilization / Dental Assistant Experience
Responsibilities
- Decontaminate and sterilize instruments, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Assemble, wrap, and sterilize trays of instruments.
- Follow sterilization precautions while decontaminating.
- Monitor biological and chemical wash solutions to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and medical equipment.
- Perform environmental maintenance duties and maintain logs in a thorough manner.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels in sterile processing and equipment storage areas.
- Verify that equipment functions properly, requisitions for equipment maintenance, repair, or replacement, and removes defective equipment when needed.
- Perform weekly spore testing and maintain a log of the results.
- Perform weekly and monthly maintenance of Autoclave and Statim.
