Position Overview We are seeking an organized, friendly, and efficient Scheduling Coordinator to join our team immediately. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in managing the practice's heartbeat-our daily schedule. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a dental office, a knack for optimization, and a welcoming personality that keeps our patients smiling.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a dental front office is required.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, standard dental scheduling flow, and familiarity with dental practice management software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a positive, empathetic "bedside manner."
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a true team player who thrives in a collaborative, family-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Productive Schedule: Execute standard dental scheduling procedures to optimize doctor and hygiene production while ensuring smooth patient flow.
• Patient Interaction: Warmly greet patients upon arrival, answer incoming phone calls, and respond to scheduling requests with excellent customer service.
• Appointment Confirmation: Proactively manage confirmation lists, follow up on missed appointments, and fill last-minute cancellations from a waitlist.
• Patient Records & Intake: Register new patients, update existing records, and collect necessary pre-appointment information.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the clinical team and Dr. Clegg to ensure daily goals are met and the day runs seamlessly.
