About The Position

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dedicated team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, playing an important role in creating an excellent patient experience and supporting the smooth operation of our practice. We are a busy endodontic practice that values teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care. Our team works closely together to ensure every patient feels welcomed, supported, and well cared for throughout their visit. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, personable, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience as a Dental Receptionist
• Customer service, healthcare, scheduling or patient-facing experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned
