About The Position

American Dental Companies (ADC) is reshaping the dental industry by blending local practice culture with modern technology, operational infrastructure, and centralized executive support. Operating from their Phoenix Central Support Center, specialized administrative teams handle high-level operations, allowing partner practices nationwide to focus on exceptional patient care. They are seeking a goal-oriented, high-energy Dental Patient Communication Specialist to join their collaborative Recare Department. This role is non-clinical and administrative, focused on high-volume outbound calling and digital text communications to re-engage existing patients, overcome scheduling barriers, and book routine hygiene and continuing care appointments.

Requirements

  • Clear, articulate, confident, and warm phone voice.
  • 1+ years of experience in dental scheduling, hygiene recare, or dental front office operations strongly preferred.
  • Call center, high-volume healthcare scheduling, or customer service experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to comfortably navigate dental practice management software (Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.), messaging platforms, and patient databases simultaneously.
  • Ambitious, coachable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Enjoys turning a "no" or "maybe" into a confirmed appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily outbound phone calls, text message campaigns, and follow-ups to reconnect overdue patients with their local ADC dental office.
  • Navigate multiple dental practice management software systems to find, book, and optimize hygiene schedules across multiple practice locations.
  • Address patient concerns, overcome scheduling objections, and articulate the value of routine dental care.
  • Maintain open lines of direct communication with local office staff regarding provider availability, schedule density, and specific patient needs.
  • Meticulously record all outreach attempts, patient responses, and confirmed bookings in the system to track daily output and hit weekly performance targets.
  • Contribute to a supportive, positive team dynamic where flexibility, mutual support, and shared goals drive daily success.
