Requirements

  • 1–2 years of office or administrative experience (dental or medical office preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in typing (40+ words per minute)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer-Focused Attitude: A commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences

Responsibilities

  • Managing the phone system: Answering, screening, and forwarding calls; taking messages; and scheduling appointments
  • Welcoming patients: Greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and directing them as needed
  • Filing, maintaining records, sorting mail, courier deliveries, and data entry
  • Balancing credit transactions, handling basic clerical financial support, and presenting cases to patients
  • Operating new office systems and utilizing scripts effectively
