About The Position

DDS Marketing is seeking an experienced Account Manager who understands dental marketing thoroughly, including new patient acquisition, high-value case campaigns, and recall reactivation. The role involves helping dental practices grow by converting ad spend into booked appointments and increased production. This position is client-facing and requires translating practice goals into marketing strategies and campaign data into understandable insights for dentists. The Account Manager will act as the primary link between clients and the marketing team, focusing on practice growth rather than just clicks and form fills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in dental marketing, dental practice marketing, or within a dental agency/DSO environment.
  • Strong understanding of how marketing drives new patient acquisition and practice production.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client accounts in the dental or healthcare marketing sector, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Deep knowledge of the dental patient journey, from initial ad engagement to treatment acceptance.
  • Fluency in dental terminology, service lines, and daily practice operations.
  • Understanding of key dental practice metrics such as cost per new patient, show rate, case acceptance, production per visit, and patient lifetime value.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to present results to dentists and gain buy-in from front-office teams.
  • High level of organization and proactivity in managing multiple client accounts, follow-ups, and campaign deliverables.
  • Results-driven mindset focused on marketing ROI, new patient quality, and long-term client retention.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for dental clients (doctors, office managers, treatment coordinators), fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews, discussing campaign results, lead flow, cost per new patient, and front-desk call handling.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing ROI for practices, including optimizing offers, targeting service lines, and enhancing the phone-to-appointment conversion process.
  • Apply dental marketing expertise to develop actionable strategies that increase practice production, advising on offers, patient mix, and capacity.
  • Collaborate with creative and advertising teams to ensure campaigns attract patients who attend appointments, accept treatment, and refer others.
  • Coach practices on lead follow-up speed, call scripts, and scheduling workflows to convert marketing leads into appointments.
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 30-40 dental clients, including general dentistry, specialty practices, and multi-location groups.
