About The Position

Oral Arts is a full-service family owned and operated dental laboratory that manufactures dental prostheses, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, orthodontic appliances, etc. We have an immediate need for a full-time Experienced Model & Die Technician with a strong background in die trimming and model preparation.

Requirements

• 1-2 Years of recent Die trimming experience
• Skilled in working with small tools and delicate materials to craft dentures with fine detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly.
• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time and may involve climbing stairs regularly.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Trim and section dental models to create removable dies with precision.
• Expose and preserve preparation margins while maintaining model integrity.
• Pin, base, and articulate models according to laboratory standards.
• Inspect impressions, digital models, and stone casts for quality and accuracy.
• Repair defects and remake models when necessary.
• Follow and interpret dentist prescriptions accurately.
• Keep tools, materials, and equipment clean and well-maintained, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
• Deliver consistent and reliable work performance.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by management.
