About The Position
Join Our Team as a Dental Intake Specialist I! Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you have a knack for organization and a heart for helping others? If so, we want YOU to join our dedicated team at One Health. This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week, working Tuesday through Friday. The salary ranges from $19.33 to $20.28 per hour, depending on experience, with an additional $2.30 per hour locality pay. One Health provides medical, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, and community and public health services to rural populations through an integrated approach to health care. One Health is a non-profit organization and is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
Requirements
- Driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS Upon Hire

Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments and gather essential information.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate care with our healthcare providers.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phones, addressing patient inquiries, and assisting with billing as needed.
- Facilitate coordination of care by working with various healthcare providers and departments.
