About The Position

Our growing practice is looking for an experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator to manage claim follow-up and provide insurance verification oversight across our 6 locations. Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Insurance Coordinator or in dental billing
Strong knowledge of major dental insurance carriers, including Medicare and Medicaid
Comfortable navigating EOBs and insurance portals
A track record of successful clean claim submission
Ability to train and support employees across multiple locations
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivated and task-oriented, able to manage priorities independently
Strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with DentalXChange and AirPay experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Manage claim follow-up for all 6 offices, working aging reports and resolving denials, rejections, and resolving underpayments
Oversee practice level insurance verification processes and train new hires on insurance systems & protocols
Submit clean claims and keep rejections and resubmissions to a minimum
Review and interpret insurance denials and identify discrepancies
Navigate carrier portals to check claim status, benefits, and payment details
Train front office staff on verification, claim submission, and insurance best practices
Explain insurance breakdowns clearly to team members and patients
Serve as the go-to resource for insurance questions across the organization
Assist with credentialing and re-credentialing of providers
Manage our AI verification platform, Airpay
Assist with insurance related set up in our Denticon Software (maintaining and mapping fee schedules, insurance carrier creation)
