Dental Hygienist - with Benefits
About The Position
Salud is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join their family. In this role, you will work in a team-based care fashion, supporting patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships to provide the highest standard of dental care. You will perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care. Salud is committed to providing a Medical Home where medical, dental, behavioral health services, and clinical pharmacists coordinate efforts in a team-based system of care to improve the quality of life for patients who may have limited access to healthcare. They serve all individuals regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene
- Possession of a valid current license as a registered dental hygienist in the State of Colorado
- Maintain current CPR Certification
- Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities
- Perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care.
- Work in a team-based care fashion supporting patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships.
- Provide preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of your day.
- Provide oral assessments and preventive care in local schools.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology, including digital X-rays, diode lasers, Cavitrons, intra-oral scanners, CBCT machines, integrated electronic medical dental records, and voice-activated perio charting.
- Obtain and renew Colorado Dental Hygienist License.
- Maintain current CPR Certification.
