At Scottsdale Perfect Smiles, led by Dr. Richard Feldhake, we deliver high-quality, patient-centered dental care in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our modern 7-operatory practice provides comprehensive general, cosmetic, reconstructive, and implant dentistry, with a unique expertise in special needs dentistry and IV sedation care. Our practice culture is structured, organized, and focused on clinical excellence, while remaining warm, empathetic, and collaborative. Supported by a close-knit team, we pride ourselves on giving every patient a comfortable, personalized, and stress-free dental experience. We are seeking a skilled, empathetic Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our clinical team 3 days a week (Wed–Fri). This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist who excels at gentle, comprehensive preventative care and enjoys working with a diverse patient base-including special needs and sedated patients-in a well-supported 7-op practice.

Requirements

Active Arizona Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing.
Arizona Dental Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) Certification.
Soft-Tissue Laser Certification.
Gentle chairside manner, high empathy, strong communication skills, and comfort working with special needs or sedated patients.

Responsibilities

Provide adult and pediatric prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and topical fluoride treatments.
Administer soft-tissue diode laser therapy for periodontal decontamination and adjunct treatments (Laser Certification required).
Capture crisp digital dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral imagery to assist doctors with comprehensive exams.
Deliver gentle, empathetic hygiene care adapted to special needs patients, anxious individuals, and post-sedation clinical workflows.
Educate patients and caregivers on tailored oral hygiene routines, periodontal health, and preventative care strategies.
