About The Position

Join Our Dedicated Team as a Registered Dental Hygienist! Hackley Community Care (HCC) is seeking a mission-driven Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) committed to promoting health, preventing disease, and improving lives. HCC is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing integrated medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to residents of Muskegon County. This role offers unique community outreach opportunities, including school-based health programs, mobile dental services, and collaborations with local organizations. As an RDH, you will be on the frontlines of patient education and prevention, performing routine dental hygiene procedures and educating patients on the oral/systemic health connection.

Requirements

• Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Current, active Michigan dental hygiene license in good standing
• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification
• Passion for patient education, prevention, and improving overall health

Responsibilities

• Performing routine dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, sealants, and fluoride treatments
• Educating patients on the oral/systemic health connection
• Collaborating with a supportive dental team to ensure comprehensive care
• Supporting school-based health programs
• Participating in mobile dental services
• Conducting Kindergarten Oral Health Assessments
• Engaging in collaborative initiatives with organizations such as HealthWest
