About The Position
Silver Sage Family Dentistry is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join its established, patient-focused practice in Fort Worth, Texas. The role focuses on preventive and periodontal care, building patient relationships, and collaborating with a supportive dental team. The practice emphasizes patient comfort, clinical excellence, and providing the clinical team with the time, tools, and support needed to deliver exceptional care. The schedule is Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch. Compensation is $50–$53 per hour. Hygiene recall appointments are one hour, and scaling and root planing appointments are scheduled according to patient needs. The practice has an established patient base, a supported hygiene schedule, and modern dental technology, including an iTero scanner, Nomad, Cavitron, and Open Dental.
Requirements
- Active Texas Registered Dental Hygienist license; candidates awaiting licensure are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, patient-focused approach to dental care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with doctors and the dental team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene appointments.
- Complete periodontal charting and assessments.
- Take digital dental X-rays.
- Provide prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance.
- Perform scaling and root planing (SRP).
- Apply fluoride treatments.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Help patients maintain long-term oral health.
