About The Position

Affordable Dentures & Implants in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a compassionate, skilled Part-time Dental Hygienist to join their growing team. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Active Dental Hygienist license required
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to provide high-quality clinical care in a fast-paced dental environment
  • Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Dental Hygienist in a general, prosthodontic, or specialty dental practice
  • Experience providing hygiene care for dental implant patients
  • Experience with implant maintenance
  • Experience with removable prosthetics or denture patients
  • Experience performing gross debridement
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software and electronic patient records
  • Experience working collaboratively with dentists and dental support teams

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including scaling and prophylaxis.
  • Perform fluoride applications and other preventive dental procedures.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and care for dental implant patients.
  • Perform gross debridement for partial denture patients as permitted by state regulations.
  • Conduct patient consultations and reinforce dentist-recommended treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and strategies for maintaining long-term oral health.
  • Provide clear post-operative instructions and ensure patients understand their recommended care.
  • Support patients throughout their treatment journey by creating a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation in accordance with office protocols.
  • Follow all infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and patient safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with dentists, dental assistants, laboratory professionals, and other team members to support comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support patient care and overall office success.
