South Mountain Family Dental has an opening for a full-time Dental Hygienist in Tempe, AZ. Our office is equipped with the latest technologies to provide the best patient care, making appointments a breeze for both our Hygienists and our patients. Requirements
- Must hold a valid AZ Hygiene license
- 1+ years of prior hands-on Hygienist experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of Dentrix software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Comfortable using dental software and digital technology
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Nice To Haves
- Ideal Certifications: Nitrous Oxide Sedation and Laser/Radiology
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
- Conduct patient assessments and document findings
- Take digital dental radiographs
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with doctors and team members to support patient treatment plans
- Deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring comfort throughout appointments
- Follow all infection control and sterilization protocols
