About The Position
PrimeCare Medical Inc., is a physician-founded, privately owned/operated, nationally accredited correctional health care practice. Correctional medicine is a challenging and exciting opportunity for today’s dental professional, allowing you to truly utilize all your learned skills and knowledge. It is the perfect hybrid of Outpatient and Urgent/Emergency Dentistry, serving an underserved and extremely diverse patient population. We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team at the Cambria County Juvenile Detention Center in Ebensburg, PA. This position only requires up to 4 hours per week.
Requirements
- Must have either an associate's or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed dental hygienist in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to develop a trusting relationship with patients/inmates.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, observe and document patients.
