About The Position
Salud is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join their family. Hygienists work in a team-based care model, supporting patients and families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships to deliver high-quality dental care. The role involves performing most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care. This position offers a unique opportunity to integrate medical and dental care, with the possibility of performing preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of the day. Additionally, there are opportunities to provide oral assessments and preventive care in local schools. The role utilizes state-of-the-art technology and offers continuous learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene
- Possession of a valid current license as a registered dental hygienist in the State of Colorado
- Maintain current CPR Certification
- Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must

- Previous experience desired, but not required
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care.
- Work in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships.
- Provide preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of the day.
- Provide oral assessments and preventive care in local schools.
- Utilize state-of-the-art technology including digital X-rays, diode lasers, Cavitrons, intra-oral scanners, CBCT machines, integrated electronic medical dental records, and voice-activated perio charting.
