About The Position

Bestica is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide service in support of the Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor in Oak Harbor, WA. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you’ll deliver high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental services in a professional, mission-focused environment at the Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor, serving active-duty military service members in the Pacific Northwest.

Requirements

Successful completion of a dental hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or the American Dental Association (ADA).
2 years' experience to meet clinical competency requirements.
One current, valid, active, and unrestricted license as a Hygienist.
Successfully pass the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination (NBDHE).
NPI registration.
Certified in radiography as required by 42 CFR Part 75.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart or American Red Cross.
U.S. Citizenship.
Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
Physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and performing all services required under the contract.

Nice To Haves

In rare circumstances at MTFs in foreign countries, foreign trained RDHs who have not completed the NBDHE can be credentialed on a case-by-case basis based on demonstrated evidence of current competency.
