About The Position

American Dental Center of Union is seeking a dependable Regional PRN Dental Hygienist to provide coverage at our Union, New Jersey office and affiliated practices located within approximately 40 miles of Union. This flexible opportunity is ideal for a hygienist who wants to supplement their current schedule, work with different dental teams, and select shifts based on their availability.

Requirements

Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license in good standing
Current CPR certification
Strong clinical, communication, and patient-education skills
Dependability, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with different teams
Willingness to travel to affiliated practices within approximately 40 miles of Union
Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort

Nice To Haves

Previous dental hygiene experience preferred

Responsibilities

Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
Assess patients’ oral health and document clinical findings
Take digital radiographs as permitted
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Collaborate with dentists and clinical team members
Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical and safety protocols
Create a comfortable and positive experience for every patient
Adapt confidently to different practice environments and patient populations
Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
Assist dentists with exams and treatments , and take dental X-rays
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols
