About The Position
Kimberley Family Dental is seeking a passionate Dental Hygienist to join their team in Kimberley, BC. This role involves providing comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages in a welcoming and modern environment. The practice emphasizes patient education, preventative care, and teamwork, offering a full range of dental services. Located in the East Kootenays, Kimberley offers a high quality of life with outdoor recreational opportunities. This position can be full-time or part-time, working 2-4 days per week, in a supportive and community-connected setting.
Requirements
- Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required
- Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required
- Valid CPR certification is required
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
- Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
- Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
- Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour
