Dental Hygienist - with Benefits
About The Position
Salud is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join their family. In this role, you will work in a team-based care fashion, supporting patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships to provide the highest standard of dental care. You will perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care. Salud has been committed since 1970 to providing a Medical Home where medical, dental, behavioral health services, and clinical pharmacists coordinate efforts in a team-based system of care to improve the quality of life for patients who would otherwise have limited access to health care. They serve all individuals regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene
- Possession of a valid current license as a registered dental hygienist in the State of Colorado
- Maintain current CPR Certification
Nice To Haves
- Previous Dental Hygienist experience desired, but not required
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform most clinical procedures related to professional dental hygiene care.
- Support patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change partnerships.
- Provide preventive dental services in a medical setting for up to half of your day.
- Provide oral assessments and preventive care in local schools.
