About The Position
Georgia Dental Medicine is growing, and we’re looking for a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team in Marietta, GA! This role offers a consistent Tuesday schedule from 6:45 AM to 4:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch. It's an ideal opportunity for those looking to supplement their income, achieve better work-life balance, or pick up an extra day without committing to a full-time schedule. There is also potential to discuss additional hours at partner practices. The practice emphasizes a supportive, collaborative, and welcoming environment where patient-centric care and professional growth are prioritized.
Requirements
- Active Georgia Dental Hygienist license
- Current BLS/CPR certifications
- Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
Nice To Haves
- 1 or more years of RDH clinical experience preferred
- Open to new Dental Hygienist grads!
Responsibilities
- Screening patients during check-ups
- Reviewing patient's history
- Administers prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing
- Documents area of existing restorations
- Use of X-ray
- Instructing patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene
- Conduct screenings
- Assist patients with oral hygiene
