About The Position

GCHC is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide dental hygiene services. This role requires a licensed professional with at least two years of experience in prophylaxis, sterilization processes, and taking X-rays. The position involves flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays, and requires the use of a personal vehicle for work-related travel. Strong communication, computer, and manual dexterity skills are essential.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of post-secondary education from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Licensed to practice in Michigan as a dental hygienist and meet other applicable state requirements.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a dental hygienist providing prophylaxis, sterilization processes and taking X-rays.
• Willing to work flexible hours including occasional weekends, holidays, or irregular hours.
• Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License, current automobile insurance, and the use of a personal vehicle during work hours.
• Maintain valid licensure to retain employment.
• Effective verbal skills to communicate with patients and co-workers
• Keyboarding and computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, electronic medical/health records, and database management.
