About The Position
Dental Hygienist – PRN Position River Garden Hebrew Home is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team in a PRN capacity, providing on-site professional dental hygiene services within a long-term care setting. This role is ideal for a hygienist seeking flexible scheduling, supplemental income, or a rewarding opportunity to serve residents in a facility-based environment. The Dental Hygienist will deliver periodic preventive oral care services in accordance with facility policies and under the supervision and direction of the supervising dentist.
Requirements
- Current, active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Florida (required)
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a mobile/on-site care environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site dental hygiene services to residents in a long-term care facility
- Perform oral health screenings and assessments
- Deliver professional dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
- Follow all infection control, safety, and facility-specific protocols
