About The Position

Baechtold Family Dentistry is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join their team in Richmond, KY. This role is crucial in maintaining patients' oral health and promoting overall wellness. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Fridays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the potential to become full-time.

Requirements

Knowledge of general principles of dentistry and advanced knowledge of dental hygiene.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Successful completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene.
State license required.
General Supervision Certification (Required)

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings and preventive treatments with precision and attention to detail.
Conduct thorough oral health assessments and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain clear and accurate patient records.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
Stay updated on the latest developments in dental hygiene and implement best practices in clinical care.
Cleans calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums using dental instruments.
