About The Position
Preferred Dental of Cromwell is a family-focused dental practice in Cromwell, CT, known for personalized care, advanced technology, and a welcoming environment. Located alongside the Mattabesset River, our modern, multi-specialty practice has 9 operatories, a strong team of general dentists and specialists, and a high patient satisfaction rating. We are hiring two Dental Hygienists who are passionate and patient-centered, seeking a practice where their skills are valued and their schedule supports work-life balance. Requirements
- Associate degree or higher from an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program
- Active Connecticut Dental Hygienist license and CPR certification
- Local anesthesia certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
- Experience in a dental office setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome
Responsibilities
- Deliver preventive and therapeutic hygiene services, including cleanings, scaling, root planing, and fluoride application
- Take and interpret digital radiographs
- Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal charting
- Educate and motivate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices
- Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to ensure seamless, comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold OSHA/HIPAA compliance
