Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ohio
- Skilled in taking dental x-rays and using CAD software
- Familiar with Dentrix or other Dental Practice Management Software
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and aseptic technique
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy
Nice To Haves
- At least 2 years of dental hygiene experience preferred
- Experience with imaging equipment a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental hygiene procedures including cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, and patient education
- Update and maintain accurate patient records and medical histories
- Assist the dentist with procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
- Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, sterile environment
- Promote patient wellness through excellent care and communication
