We're looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our Sehome team in Bellingham and help us provide patients with high-quality, preventive care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Current Washington State Dental Hygienist license or ability to obtain one by the time of employment
- Current CPR certification
- Applicable local anesthesia certification and other required credentials
- Strong patient communication and education skills
- Commitment to clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene and periodontal services within your scope of practice
- Assess patients' oral health and identify periodontal conditions
- Partner with dentists to develop and support appropriate patient treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, periodontal health, and recommended care
- Build trust through compassionate, personalized patient interactions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with the entire dental team to create an exceptional patient experience
- Focus on delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care
- Build long-term relationships with your patients
- Educate patients and help them take an active role in their oral and overall health
- Collaborate closely with dentists and other members of the clinical team
- Work with the support and resources of an established dental organization
- Continue developing your clinical skills through continuing education
- Earn additional compensation through an uncapped bonus plan
