We're looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our Sehome team in Bellingham and help us provide patients with high-quality, preventive care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
  • Current Washington State Dental Hygienist license or ability to obtain one by the time of employment
  • Current CPR certification
  • Applicable local anesthesia certification and other required credentials
  • Strong patient communication and education skills
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental hygiene and periodontal services within your scope of practice
  • Assess patients' oral health and identify periodontal conditions
  • Partner with dentists to develop and support appropriate patient treatment plans
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, periodontal health, and recommended care
  • Build trust through compassionate, personalized patient interactions
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Follow infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
  • Collaborate with the entire dental team to create an exceptional patient experience
  • Focus on delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care
  • Build long-term relationships with your patients
  • Educate patients and help them take an active role in their oral and overall health
  • Collaborate closely with dentists and other members of the clinical team
  • Work with the support and resources of an established dental organization
  • Continue developing your clinical skills through continuing education
  • Earn additional compensation through an uncapped bonus plan
