About The Position
Gentle Dental of Allentown is looking for a part-time Dental Hygienist in Allentown, PA to join their clinical team. The role focuses on providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction within a team-based environment. The practice is committed to delivering comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and utilizing advanced treatments for optimal oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, responsibilities include providing exceptional care through routine cleanings, assessments, and education, while supporting a dynamic team of dental professionals. Gentle Dental offers a friendly, growth-oriented workplace where patient comfort is a priority. The schedule for this position is Monday and Wednesday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
- Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Local anesthesia certification and CPR/First Aid (if applicable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health Assessments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and adhere to sterilization protocols
