About The Position
Arlington Dental Aesthetics is looking for a full-time, friendly, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We foster a positive, collaborative environment where our providers support one another and prioritize quality over rushing through appointments. Patient-Focused Scheduling: Recall appointments: 60 minutes, New patient appointments: 75 minutes, Scaling and Root Planing (SRP): Scheduled based on provider recommendation. Work with advanced equipment including: CBCT, Nomad™ handheld X-ray, iTero® digital scanner, Intraoral cameras, Dentrix practice management software.
Requirements
- Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license or awaiting licensure (New Grads Welcome)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
- Complete periodontal charting
- Provide scaling and root planing (SRP)
- Take digital radiographs
- Administer fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Partner with doctors and team members to provide exceptional patient experiences
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow infection control protocols
