About The Position
Join a Modern, Patient-Centered Practice in Phoenix! This is a Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) position at Carefree Dentistry in Phoenix, AZ. The practice is modern, with 4 operatories, designed for optimal workflow, patient comfort, and a collaborative team dynamic. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional clinical care in a positive, stress-free environment. The role offers a four-day work week (Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), with Fridays, evenings, and weekends always off. Tuesdays are dedicated hygiene-only clinical days. The team consists of 2 Dental Assistants, a Front Office Receptionist, and an Office Manager.
Requirements
- Active Arizona Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Required).
- Current CPR / BLS certification.
- Strong clinical technique, excellent time management, and a warm, empathetic chairside manner.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player who enjoys a positive office culture.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dental practice management software and insurance coding is preferred (on-the-job adaptation supported).
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing (SRP), and digital radiographs.
- Update health histories, record vitals, obtain necessary consents, and educate patients on their oral health needs.
- Partner closely with doctors for timely hygiene exams and coordinate with the front desk team to ensure patients leave with their next hygiene or restorative appointment scheduled.
- Maintain efficient setup, breakdown, and sterilization protocols, ensuring all clinical notes and ledger entries are completed accurately each day.
