Part Time Dental Hygienist
About The Position
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Dental Hygienist to support providers in a structured, outpatient clinic-based environment in Louisville, KY. This role functions as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations. This opportunity offers both flexibility and purpose, operating within a community-based outpatient clinic model where clinic staff are on-site full time, with organized scheduling and patient flow in a coordinated, team-based care environment. The value-based model is focused on seniors, and our hygienists are fully supported so they can focus on delivering quality care.
Requirements
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Kentucky
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment
- Comfortable working with senior populations
Nice To Haves
- Experience in clinical or outpatient settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine dental cleanings, scaling, and periodontal maintenance
- Conduct oral health assessments and review medical histories
- Take and interpret dental X-rays
- Perform periodontal charting and identify signs of oral disease
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, diet, and preventive care
- Document patient care and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate closely with dentists and clinical staff
