About The Position
Fort Dodge Dental Associates and Pocahontas Dental Associates are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join their teams in a unique hybrid role. This position offers variety and flexibility, allowing the hygienist to work between the Fort Dodge and Pocahontas locations. The schedule is customized based on availability and office needs, with approximately 1-2 days per week at each location. This role provides a competitive hourly wage based on experience and a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Current Iowa Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient-focused and dependable
- Comfortable working collaboratively with multiple dental teams
Nice To Haves
- Dental software experience preferred

Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
- Conduct patient assessments and document findings
- Take dental radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Partner with dentists to identify and address oral health concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Build relationships with patients while providing exceptional care
- Collaborate with team members at both locations
