About The Position
Callahan Dental is seeking a motivated Dental Hygienist to cover a maternity leave, with the potential to transition into a permanent part-time role. This is a fee-for-service practice committed to delivering high-quality, personalized care in a positive and collaborative environment. The role offers a supportive doctor and a team that values expertise, with a focus on quality over quantity. Requirements
- Active Maryland Dental Hygiene License
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience providing comprehensive dental hygiene care
- Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to patient care
Nice To Haves
- Experience with iTero, Laser, Air Polisher, Cavitron, and Dentrix.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including periodontal charting, digital x-rays, prophylaxis, and scaling & root planing (SRP).
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.
- Administer fluoride treatments.
