About The Position
The Dental Hygienist I manages dental hygiene and periodontal disease treatment for patients under the direction of staff dentists. The role works closely with medical and behavioral health providers to support whole-person care. The hygienist assesses and obtains clinical evidence of patients’ periodontal health and develops appropriate treatment plans and sequences for existing periodontal disease. This is an on-site position at the clinic in Hood River, Oregon. Full-time or part-time schedules are available.
Requirements
- Current Oregon hygiene license.
- Oregon x-ray certification.
- Current CPR/Adult and Infant Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED.

- Experience working with marginalized, high-risk, or otherwise underserved populations.

Responsibilities
