About The Position

As a Dental Hygiene Instructor, you will guide students through a rigorous CODA-accredited curriculum. This Monday through Friday role offers a stable, predictable schedule, allowing you to move away from the traditional clinical grind while remaining at the forefront of dental science. You will play a vital role in ensuring our students meet the high standards required for professional licensure and clinical excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Baccalaureate) from a USDE-recognized accredited institution.
  • Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental Hygiene or Dental program.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of full-time clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist or Dentist.
  • Current Texas state license and all state-required credentials (including CPR).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint/Excel) and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver high-quality lesson plans that align with course objectives, utilizing active learning methodologies to support student critical thinking.
  • Track student progress and provide early intervention and tutoring if a grade average falls below average required.
  • Provide expert chairside guidance in preclinical and lab environments, reinforcing didactic principles through intensive hands-on practice.
  • Assist in continuous curriculum review and the preparation of accreditation reports to maintain program excellence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance and performance in accordance with institutional and CODA policies.
