About The Position
Arrowhead Foothills Dentistry is seeking a versatile, high-energy Dental Assistant with 3+ years of experience to join their 6-operatory clinical team. The practice, led by Dr. Howard Steele and Dr. Shreena Adhikari, offers comprehensive dental care, from preventive to advanced restorative and surgical procedures. The role involves supporting restorative, surgical, and hygiene departments, working with modern technology in a state-of-the-art facility.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of dental assisting experience.
- Valid X-ray certification.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Proficiency in sterilization, clinical documentation/charting, and patient education.
- Proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a "team-first" attitude.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate the needs of 4 providers (2 Dentists, 2 Hygienists) across restorative, endodontic, surgical, and hygiene procedures.
- Take and process high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays, panos).
- Support the hygiene team with charting, suctioning, and efficient room turnover.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment by strictly following OSHA/CDC infection-control standards.
- Greet patients, manage anxiety, and provide clear post-operative education.
