The Dental Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for gathering, verifying, tracking, and maintaining an audit trail of elements related to the credentialing and re-credentialing policy and procedures for dentists. This role provides administrative support for the credentialing process, including managing provider contracts, fee schedules, and ensuring dentist files are up-to-date with current information on licensure, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage, and other pertinent data. The coordinator also manages provider directories, completes network verification, processes member letters, and serves as a direct contact for provider offices and leased networks. Additionally, this position supports accounting with TIN verification, assists in report generation, and acts as a point of contact for dental offices when Dental Network Representatives are unavailable.
