Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher in Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a dental clinical environment with exposure to clinical coordination or administrative duties.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, clinical procedures, and infection control standards.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and dental practice management software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Dental Practice Management or Clinical Coordination.
  • Experience with quality improvement methodologies and regulatory compliance audits.
  • Familiarity with insurance billing processes and patient financial counseling.
  • Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations.
  • Coronal Polish and Nitrous Certified.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily clinical operations including patient scheduling, treatment planning, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Serve as a liaison between dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative personnel to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements within the dental clinic.
  • Manage patient records and clinical documentation accurately, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new clinical staff, and support ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Facilitate patient education by providing information on treatment plans, oral hygiene practices, and follow-up care instructions.
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement projects to enhance clinical outcomes and operational effectiveness.
