About The Position

Remington College, a non-profit, non-traditional institution with high ethical standards, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic dental professional to join the academic team at its Cleveland Campus on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have some teaching experience and a passion for educating students eager to train as dental assistants. This role involves training students using accepted instructional methodologies, developing lesson plans, and fostering student growth.

Requirements

High School Diploma or a GED.
At least three (3) years of practical work experience as a dental assistant or dentist.
Professional RDA certification/licensure.
Belief in the power of sharing knowledge, motivating others, and putting students first.
Passion for training tomorrow’s workforce.

Some teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Train students in the field of dental assisting using accepted and approved instructional methodology.
Prepare lesson plans using industry-standard approaches (e.g., multimedia, adult learning methodology).
Teach courses as assigned, instruct and evaluate students.
Develop students’ skills and encourage growth.
Track student attendance, performance, and grades.
Participate in various administrative activities (e.g., attend faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings).
Participate in graduation ceremonies, as assigned.
Participate regularly in continuing professional development activities.
