About The Position
La Clínica de La Raza is a community-based health center committed to providing culturally appropriate, high-quality, and accessible health care to the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area. The Dental Assisting Extern supports the dental team through volunteer sterilization, patient care and dental assisting, taking x-rays, patient education, and four-handed dental assisting.
Responsibilities
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment as a volunteer.
- Provide patient care and dental assisting.
- Take x-rays.
- Educate patients.
- Perform four-handed dental assisting.
