About The Position
Abbeville is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to support patient care in a respectful, supportive, team-oriented practice. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing and delivering instruments, positioning instruments for the dentist, suctioning, passing instruments, and completing clinical notes before patients are dismissed. Requirements
- CPR/X-ray certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Successfully pass a background check, including a drug screen, as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the treatment room for patients.
- Sterilize and deliver instruments to the treatment area.
- Position instruments for the dentist’s access, suction, and pass instruments.
- Complete clinical notes before dismissing patients.
