About The Position
Summit is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join its team and help provide exceptional patient care in a respectful, supportive practice. The position involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing and delivering instruments, assisting the dentist during procedures, and completing clinical notes before patients are dismissed. Any offer is contingent on successfully passing a background check, including a drug screen.
Requirements
- CPR/X-ray certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Successfully pass a background check, including a drug screen, as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the treatment room for patients.
- Sterilize and deliver instruments to the treatment area and position them for the dentist’s access.
- Assist during procedures by suctioning and passing instruments.
- Complete clinical notes before dismissing patients.
