About The Position

Scottsdale Perfect Smiles is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant for its modern dental practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. The assistant works directly with the doctors and other providers to support daily clinical operations, maintain smooth patient flow, provide comfortable chairside care, and keep treatment rooms ready for patients. The practice provides family, restorative, cosmetic, and implant care in a 7-operatory facility with a close-knit support staff and four providers. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 7:45 AM to 2:00 PM. There are no weekend shifts. Compensation is $23–$27 per hour, commensurate with experience, with potential monthly team performance bonuses. Requirements

At least 2 years of hands-on chairside dental assisting experience.
Active Dental Assistant (DA) certification.
Active Arizona Dental Radiologic Proficiency / X-Ray Certificate.
Familiarity with modern dental technology, digital imaging, and practice management software.
Strong emotional intelligence, reliability, a patient-focused approach, and a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Provide four-handed chairside assistance during general, restorative, cosmetic, and surgical dental procedures.
Capture digital radiographs and intraoral photographs, and maintain accurate clinical notes in practice software.
Welcome patients, review health histories, explain treatment steps, and provide empathetic chairside support.
Prepare, break down, sanitize, and restock operatories between appointments in accordance with OSHA and HIPAA standards.
Process instruments and maintain sterilization equipment.
Support hygienists, front-office staff, and doctors with a positive, proactive approach.
