About The Position
Affinity Dental JTown is expanding and searching for an EDDA (Expanded Duties Dental Assistant) who wants to be part of a practice where teamwork is real, leadership is accessible, and patients are treated like family. This is a long-standing private practice with a solid team focused on doing great dentistry and supporting each other along the way.
Requirements
- EDDA and Coronal Polishing certified
- CPR certified with active KY X-Ray certification
- Available Monday-Friday
- Dependable and eager to learn
- Positive, professional, and patient-focused
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down treatment rooms with efficiency
- Assist chairside and stay one step ahead during procedures
- Create natural-looking temporary restorations
- Take high-quality intraoral photos
- Pour and trim study models
- Polish removable appliances
- Keep instruments sterilized and OSHA standards top of mind
- Enter thorough, accurate chart notes
- Help patients feel calm, informed, and cared for
