About The Position

St. Matthews Family Dental is expanding and searching for an EDDA (Expanded Duty Dental Assistant) who wants to be part of a practice where teamwork is real, leadership is accessible, and patients are treated like family. This is a long-standing private practice with a solid team focused on doing great dentistry and supporting each other. The role is hands-on and essential to keeping the schedule flowing smoothly.

Requirements

• EDDA and Coronal Polishing certified
• CPR certified with active KY X-Ray certification
• Available Monday-Friday
• Dependable and eager to learn
• Positive, professional, and patient-focused

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down treatment rooms with efficiency
• Assist chairside and stay one step ahead during procedures
• Create natural-looking temporary restorations
• Take high-quality intraoral photos
• Pour and trim study models
• Polish removable appliances
• Keep instruments sterilized and OSHA standards top of mind
• Enter thorough, accurate chart notes
• Help patients feel calm, informed, and cared for
