Advanced Dental Center is a family-owned dental practice group looking for an experienced full-time Dental Assistant to join their Brooks team. They are seeking an individual with a strong foundation in general dentistry who is comfortable assisting with restorative procedures. Requirements
- 1+ years of previous dental assisting experience
- Experience assisting with general restorative dentistry
- Current X-ray certification
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable attendance and professional work habits
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with general and restorative dentistry
- Comfortable supporting the doctor throughout the patient visit
- Ability to work more independently
Responsibilities
- Assisting with general restorative procedures
- Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms
- Anticipating the doctor's needs during procedures
- Taking diagnostic dental X-rays
- Following infection-control and sterilization protocols
- Reviewing the schedule and preparing for upcoming procedures
- Providing clear and professional patient communication
- Working collaboratively with the clinical and front-office teams
- Maintaining accurate and organized clinical documentation
