About The Position

Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, provides support, training, and teamwork to make dental work more enjoyable. The Dental Assistant supports the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a caring and professional demeanor, can start within a month, and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The schedule is Monday 9–6, Tuesday through Thursday 8–5, and Friday 7–4. Compensation is $26–$29 per hour. Benefits are determined by employment status and hours worked.

Requirements

Active Washington Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential.
Current BLS certification.
Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards.
Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent patient care.
Ability to start within a month.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Caring and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other dental treatments.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
Take digital dental X-rays using Dexis software.
Prepare materials for procedures, including fillings, impressions, and crowns.
Provide chairside assistance and help keep patients comfortable and informed.
Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in dental software.
Manage instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.
Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
