About The Position

K&K Endodontics is seeking a Dental Assistant to join its busy specialty practice and help provide a world-class experience for every patient. The Dental Assistant supports the dentist by handling patient care, administrative duties, and basic dental tasks. The role focuses on responding to patients’ needs and questions, helping them feel comfortable during visits, and coordinating other office responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of proven experience as a dental assistant.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Well-organized and reliable.
• High school diploma.
• Ability to safely assist patients in and out of chairs or treatment areas.
• Ability to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods.
• Ability to work around medical equipment and instruments.
• Ability to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
• Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a dental specialty practice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients to the dental office.
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
• Assist the dentist through four-handed dentistry.
• Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
• Schedule appointments and post-operative visits.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist with payment procedures.
• Help facilitate or coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.
